Seminar 6: Leadership Mastery Series for Women

 

This series of workshops is designed to provide women with a greater understanding of the inherent differences in communication styles between the genders. The focus is on developing not only an awareness of the concepts, but also their application in order to enhance the participant's personal leadership presence and impact within their work environment. Although this program is designed as one in a series of integrated programs, each segment can be a stand-alone offering.

  Workshop 1: Creating Awareness and Empowering Change

The first in the series developed to meet the unique needs of women in the workplace, this seminar will examine the conventional attitudes of women and men. Participants will learn the art of mastering first impressions and discover how to enhance their communicative style to convey greater power, authority and influence.

Participants will learn to:

  • Capitalize on female inherent differences.
  • Communicate more effectively using body language and verbal expression.
  • Examine differences in the leadership styles of men and women.
  • Explore and understand the reasons why such differences exist .

 

Workshop 2: Developing Personal Leadership Presence

This workshop explores self-limiting beliefs that women unconsciously adopt which often leads to self-sabotage. Participants will explore success strategies to refine their leadership presence and develop a concrete action plan on how to ‘breach’ the glass ceiling using their female power.

Participants will learn to:

  • Overcome critical communication female traps.
  • Use techniques for being inspirational in meetings, presentations and social functions.
  • Confront difficult situations with confidence and earn the respect as a leader.
  • Identify how to choose and to utilize assertive skills that are most beneficial to you .

 

Workshop 3: Finding Voice – Tools for Self-Promoting Strengths and Unique Abilities

This workshop is designed to provide structure for helping women find their own unique and special voice in their workplace. It focuses on how each participant can be the master of her destiny and have the courage to speak from the heart. By recognizing her strengths and talents, each participant will finalize a customized strategic plan for achieving her vision. To facilitate the process, she will receive confidential feedback after completing an assessment questionnaire.

Participants will learn to:

  • Tap into their feminine power and overcome "stereotypical" prejudices.
  • Determine their personal inventory of assets.
  • Identify self-marketing strategies for commanding respect and recognition.
  • Create their own leadership development plan incorporating the results from the "Prevue Assessment".
